Maddie Grace’s paintings are portrayals of how she perceives the world; she is fortunate to be an artist and have the ability to capture moments, momentous and minuscule. A glorious lilypad scene to a perfectly laid tablescape, she hopes her paintings evoke as much joy in the viewer as she feels creating.
Her process is an amalgamation of dancing, loud music, spilled coffee, and thrown paint. Nothing is more satisfying than conveying a lemon with three colors, mixing the precise blue-green for a background, or manipulating a seamless brushstroke. This perfect union of an intellectual challenge and creative outlet has continued to motivate and inspire her.
Art and design have always been her greatest passions. Born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia, she grew up in beautiful spaces curated by her mother and grandmother. As a child creativity was encouraged and celebrated. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Art and a minor in Art History from Georgia Southern University, and now resides in Savannah, Georgia as a full-time artist.
